It’s that time of year again when we say goodbye to the summer and head into the cooler days of fall.  With temperatures dropping and the year coming to an end, our minds drift towards the busy holidays ahead; family, friends and cooking.  Great News! has everything you’ll need to be prepared, from all your holiday roasting and baking to the perfect gift (or gift card) for that special someone on your list.

Some of our favorites are:

-Be prepared for holiday cooking with a beautiful All Clad 3 ply Oval Roaster or a fabulous 7 ply Roaster by Mauviel.  You’ll also need Cuisipro’s collapsible roasting rack, a good probe thermometer (or two) and don’t forget our huge selection of carving knives.  Don’t forget holiday baking!  Be prepared with beautiful Emile Henry poterie that goes from freezer to oven to table, and is a definite way to wow your guests!

-Oxo (the “good grips” company) makes trash upscale with their new line of stylish kitchen cans.  They’ve created a 30 and 38 liter trash can with a pedal operated lid, non-slip bag holder, comes in assorted colors and has a lifetime warranty.  You can also drop ship these great cans right to your house or jazz up the kitchen of someone who lives far away.

     The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Great News! is donating an additional 5% of all breast cancer designated items purchased.  When you buy those designated (pink) items in our store the company donates to breast cancer research and so does Great News!  Please help us support a worthy cause and raise money towards the fight against breast cancer.
