Question 1: Can anyone take a class at Great News!? Yes, as long as they are 10 years and older (and accompanied by a paid adult up to 16 years) anyone can register for a class by simply calling 888-478-2433, completing the registration process online or coming into the store. Question 2: What do I need to bring to a cooking class? You may want to bring a pen or pencil to take notes, but we’ll provide the rest. Question 3: What do I get when I register for a cooking class? Each recipe listed in our curriculum is demonstrated in class. You’ll get a recipe packet complete with all the recipes for that class, as well as a sample size tasting portion of each item. In addition we offer light refreshments at the beginning and during each class. You are also entitled to a 10% discount off of everything except for sets, electrics and already discounted items immediately before, during and after the class. Question 4: Does Great News! offer gift cards and if so, in what increments? Yes, Great News! offers gift cards for purchase online or in the store. Our gift cards can be purchased for whatever price meets your needs. Question 5: Will my gift card ever expire? A Great News! gift card will never expire. Yes, our gift and wedding registry is available online by simply choosing the “Gift Registry” button at the top of the page Question 8: Does Great News! have any other locations? Sorry, but no. In order to keep our high level of customer service and satisfaction, Great News! does not have any other locations.
Question 9: Where can I get my knives sharpened?
Great News! sharpens knives in store. It usually cost $3-$5 per knife, depending on the size. If you bring them in Monday through Thursday they will be ready the next day by 10am and Friday through Sunday, ready Monday morning by 10am. Sorry, but we do not sharpen scissors.
